Support Options: Coaching & Mentoring
You deserve support too.
This space isn’t about learning how to manage your child’s needs—it’s about reconnecting with your needs.
As a parent or carer, it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly giving, coping, or holding things together. But your wellbeing matters.
The support I offer is person-centred and shaped entirely around you. Sometimes it looks like coaching, sometimes mentoring—often a gentle blend of both. We go at your pace, focusing on what helps you feel stronger, more resourced, and more like yourself again.
You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a little space that’s yours.

Coaching is a reflective, structured space where I ask the questions that help you uncover your own answers. It’s not about being told what to do—it’s about having the time, support, and space to tune into what you need and what feels right for you. Coaching is NOT about giving you advice or suggestions. It is not therapy or counselling.
Coaching often helps with:
Reconnecting with your identity outside of your caring role
Building emotional resilience and personal boundaries
Making space for self-care without guilt
Processing difficult emotions or patterns that feel stuck
Gaining clarity and direction in areas that feel overwhelming
Strengthening your confidence and sense of self
You don’t need to have a clear goal to begin coaching—just a sense that you need space, support, or change.
-
Mentoring is about working together to figure things out. As a mentor, I offer a listening ear, reflections from my own journey (when helpful), and tools that might support you. It’s a safe space where we’ll collaborate, chat openly, and come up with solutions that really work for you.
Mentoring can help when you’re:
Feeling emotionally isolated or overwhelmed by the caring role
Unsure how to create space for your own needs
Feeling stuck in patterns of stress, exhaustion, or people-pleasing
Needing validation that you’re not “too much” or “not enough”
Craving reassurance and connection from someone who understands without judgement
This is not about giving advice or fixing things—it’s about walking alongside you as you figure out what feels right for you.

The support I offer is often a blend of coaching and mentoring. Some moments may be quiet and reflective, others more practical or grounded in shared experience. The shape of our work is always led by you—your energy, your needs, and your pace.
There’s no right way to do this. We begin with a conversation and create something together from there. We will figure out what is going on, brainstorm together and map out your next steps.
-
The parents and carers I support often come because they are:
Struggling to balance their own needs with constant demands from others
Feeling lost, numb, or disconnected from themselves
Burnt out and craving space to be just themselves, not always “the strong one”
Wanting to rebuild their confidence and voice
Ready to make small, meaningful changes that prioritise their wellbeing
Tired of doing it all alone, and ready to feel seen and supported
You don’t need a crisis. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a little space to be you. This is a space for you—to breathe, to reflect, and to begin feeling like yourself again.
