Coaching & Mentoring Terms and Conditions
Our Working Relationship
Coaching and mentoring at The Support Tree is a collaborative, supportive space. It is not therapy or a substitute for medical or mental health care.
My role is to support you in building insight, confidence, and coping tools through coaching—and, where appropriate and with your full agreement, through mentoring or NVR (Non-Violent Resistance).
You will always be consulted before any mentoring or NVR techniques are introduced into your sessions.
Types of Sessions Available
You can book:
- 30-minute focused support sessions
- 1-hour coaching or mentoring sessions
- Programmes or ongoing packages (if offered at the time of booking)
You may schedule up to 6 sessions in advance.
Booking & Payment
Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
You can pay securely via Stripe or bank transfer.
Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. Missed sessions or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Dates agreed during the Clarity Call must be paid in full at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. If payment is not received by this time, the session slot will be released and made available for others to book.
Rescheduling
If you cannot attend a session, you may rearrange it to a different time, provided you give more than 24 hours’ notice.
You may rearrange up to 2 sessions per programme.
If you cancel or do not attend a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session will be considered used. No refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Your Responsibilities
Come open and willing to engage. Your effort and honesty are key to getting the most from our work.
You understand coaching is not therapy, and that you're responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions.
If you are under medical or mental health care, please inform your provider that you are receiving coaching.
Keep me informed of any changes in your health or personal circumstances that might affect our work.
Confidentiality & Ethics
Everything shared in sessions is treated confidentially unless:
- There’s a legal requirement to disclose,
- There’s risk of harm to yourself or others.
I follow the ethical guidelines of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Occasionally, I may share anonymised reflections in professional supervision or peer mentoring for my own development—your identity will never be disclosed.
Cooling-Off Period
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund unless:
- You book a session within that 14-day period (in which case you agree to waive this right and will be charged for the session as scheduled).
Refunds
You may cancel a programme with at least 2 weeks’ notice via email, and you will receive a refund for any sessions not yet taken.
Refunds are also offered when:
- I cancel the programme or service.
In all other cases—including missed or late-cancelled sessions—refunds are not available.
Technology & External Events
Sessions are typically held via Zoom, Teams, or another agreed platform.
If there are technical issues or events beyond my control (e.g. illness, emergencies), I will do my best to reschedule with minimal disruption.
Liability
I cannot guarantee outcomes. The success of our work depends on your engagement, commitment, and willingness to act.
My total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid for services not yet delivered.
Data & Contact
Your data will be used solely to:
- Provide services
- Process payments
- Share occasional updates if you’ve opted in

Disputes
If any issue arises, please speak with me first so we can resolve it together.
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We both agree not to post publicly or on social media in a way that could cause harm or distress during or after any dispute.
Agreement
By ticking the box on the booking page, you confirm that:
- You’ve read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- You accept that missed sessions and late cancellations (under 24 hours) are not refundable or transferable.
- You understand the difference between coaching, mentoring, and therapeutic techniques—and that any additional methods (NVR or IEMT) will only be used with your full agreement.
